TOFINO CHAMBER NAMES NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

February 2, 2026

TOFINO, BC – The Board of Directors of the Tofino Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the hiring of Graydon Clerk as the organization’s new Executive Director.

Graydon moved to Tofino in 2022 and has since worked with a range of local businesses across both tourism and non-tourism sectors. He brings valuable experience from his time with the District of Tofino’s Financial Services team, as well as from serving as Treasurer of the Tofino Arts Council. With a background spanning finance, hospitality, and hotels in the region, Graydon has a strong understanding of the local business landscape and the needs of Chamber members.

Graydon is excited to contribute to the mission of the Tofino Chamber of Commerce and to build on the work of the Board in supporting an inclusive and thriving business community. He looks forward to collaborating across the community to ensure members have the resources, opportunities, and support needed to succeed.

Graydon will be working out of the shared HUB with the Tofino Arts Council, continuing an established relationship rooted in collaboration.

“The Arts Council is very excited to welcome Graydon to the Hub and work alongside one another in a collaborative way. I am sure Graydon is going to do great things for the Chamber,” said Carly Butler, Executive Director of the Tofino Arts Council.

The Chamber Board looks forward to continuing its work with the new Executive Director in place. In addition to advocacy on behalf of local businesses and organizations, the Tofino Chamber of Commerce delivers several programs, including the West Coast Ambassador Program and the Tofino Business Retention and Expansion Program. Members benefit from connection through communications, events, member benefits, and learning opportunities. Graydon is already working on delivering a free tax workshop and question night for local business and artists.
