The West Coast Ambassador Program is a FREE educational program that aims to build a strong and healthy community, encouraging a positive attitude among responsible citizens, improving community relations with visitors, and growing support for the diversity and well-being of area businesses.

Who is the program for? The courses are open to all local residents, including seasonal staff, newcomers and business owners. It’s all about Tofino and Ucluelet – its history and first inhabitants, its ecology, its business community, its festival and events, and much more. The West Coast Ambassador Program provides valuable knowledge of the area and tips for living and working here.

The West Coast Ambassador program is a joint initiative of the Tofino Chamber of Commerce, the Ucluelet Chamber of Commerce, Tourism Tofino, Tourism Ucluelet, and the Raincoast Education Society.

Participants who complete the West Coast Ambassador Program orientation and training course will be issued an Ambassador Card upon request qualifying them for promotional discounts and benefits, which offer incentives to explore the region and business offerings.
