Tofino Ambassador Program
The Tofino Ambassador Program (TAP) is a FREE educational program that aims to build a strong and healthy community, encouraging a positive attitude among responsible citizens, improving community relations with visitors, and growing support for the diversity and well-being of area businesses.
Who is the program for? TAP is open to all local residents, including seasonal staff, newcomers and business owners. It’s all about Tofino – its history and first inhabitants, its ecology, its business community, its festival and events, and much more. TAP provides valuable knowledge of the area and tips for living and working here.
What courses are offered? Four courses will be offered - Small Town, Big Picture; Rainforest Ecology; Marine Ecology; and Nuu-Chah-Nulth Lands & Waters. Please visit the Raincoast Education Society website to learn more about 2019 course offerings, dates and times.
How do I register? Visit the Raincoast Education Society's registration page to register.
Participants of the Ambassador course will receive an Ambassador Card. Show your card for discounts and benefits at many local businesses!
The Tofino Business Excellence Awards, a Tofino Chamber annual event recognizing the outstanding businesses and organizations of Tofino, is a fundraiser for the Ambassador Program.
