    Fully guided kayaking day trips explore Meares Island and Clayoquot Sound. We supply everything you need to make this a memorable experience. Guides trained in Wilderness First Aid. A great activity for beginners, as well as an insightful introduction to Clayoquot Sound for seasoned paddlers. All excursions begin with kayaking instruction and a safety briefing. On your outing, your guide takes time to point out eagles and river otters, to discuss rainforest ecology, and to answer your questions.

    All tours begin with introductory lessons. No experience required for day tours, courses, overnight lodge based trips or wilderness camping tour with naturalist guides. Most trips include interpreted forest walks. Naturalist guides have extensive paddling experience and are professionally trained in kayak instruction, with appropriate Wilderness First Aid and CPR certification.
