February 25th Business Luncheon

The February 25th chamber luncheon was the most successful to date. Twenty-two chamber members participated in an excellent marketing presentation on Branding Your Small Business, by Greg McLaren from the Business Advisory Team Inc. Greg's presentation explained the brand-positioning process and why branding really works. Greg was able to talk in plain English (as opposed to marketing jargon) and provided practical marketing strategies for small businesses.

I am presently working with Community Futures to develop a series of luncheons next October to March. Let me know what topics you would like discussed at a future luncheon.

The next luncheon is scheduled for Wednesday, April 15th. The topic will be the 2010 Olympics, including the Olympic Torch Relay and a discussion of how Tofino can benefit, how can we increase occupancy in and around the 2010 Olympics.
