The Chamber of Commerce President and Board of Directors greatly appreciate your continued membership in 2012.

Due to the increase in the number of members, the Chamber is pleased to announce that the board of directors has adopted the same membership fees as 2011 (see fees in the 2012 membership renewal form: http://bit.ly/sefvHl ). If you have any questions regarding your membership fees, or if your contact information has changed, please feel free to contact us directly.

Please note as a reminder,  that the existing Standard Membership category is for businesses that are non-tourism and that do not provide a direct service to guests to our community.  This category has been created to encourage non-tourism businesses like construction companies, bookkeepers, financial institutions , advertising companies etc., to join the chamber. chamber.AlthoughAlthough Standard Members are not tourism stakeholders and are not directly represented by Tourism Tofino, they are recognized as important stakeholders in our business community.

If by chance you have not received your 2012 business license when you receive this renewal form, you can still renew your chamber membership and provide us with your business number within 2 weeks of submitting your renewal form. Payment is due by March 31st and can be made by cheque or cash only.  Please, either bring your completed form with a cheque to the Cox Bay Visitor Information Centre, or to the Chamber of Commerce Office (located at 381 Main) open Tuesday and Thursday from 11AM-3PM.  You can also mail the completed form with a cheque to: Tofino-Long Beach Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 249, Tofino, BC, V0R 2Z0.

In closing, we will be sending out in our February 2012 newsletter, the 2011 Year in Review outlining some of our great achievements. At that time, we will also be pleased to share with you the link to our updated 2012 Tofino-Long Beach Chamber of Commerce Strategic Plan.  You may be interested in some of the initiatives that the Chamber will be focusing on in 2012.
